Introduction Video

Welcome to “The Story of Jesus and You” Study based on the Advent topics Hope. Peace. Joy. Love.

The story of Jesus is your story too. It starts back in Genesis one and goes all the way to Revelation 22. You are in every story but more importantly Jesus is in all the stories that include us.

I want to talk about writing YOU in the story of Jesus and me too. We are waiting for Him to return with the promises and gifts He has given us.

The promise of Hope everlasting, the promise of unexplainable peace, the promise of joy coming in the morning and the unconditional love that abounds into every area of our life.

John 14:21: “Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him”.

Jesus manifests himself differently to each person at different times. This is the only manifestation you should look for or expect. As women called to ministry we have to hear the voice of God whether you are working in the Kingdom or working in the world because both places are hard to work in.

Why? Because they involve dealing with people. People are why we hide away. People are how we lose all the promises of God for our life.

Let’s put our expectations of people aside for 4 more weeks and put them on Jesus. Here is what to expect in this study of Advent:

Hope for the Future

Root Text: Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing (faith), so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Unexplainable Peace

Root Text: 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Morning Joy

Root Text: Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Love without Condition

Root Text: Colossians 3:14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

As we continue in this study we are going to learn how to Abound in Hope, Return to the Lord’s peace, live in the fullness of Joy and above all these put on love.

We are going to take action in these days before Christmas to be who the Lord has destined us to be even in this Season of hopelessness, mind wabbliness, sadness and dislike for all mankind.
